Timing light
I’m missing something, Why won’t my timing light strobe my new engine? Thought the light was bust so bought a new one. Doesn’t work either. Battery is ok and charged. Don’t understand it, I’ve used this test bed, CDI and HT before and it’s sound. Engine runs great but can’t get the strobe to work. C...

Can’t begin to imagine what the ride was like. That fella must have balls of steel.

Re: Sealed bearing on crankcase side?
I’m interested in this too, realise it a bit different but my replacement end plate bearing was sealed both sides. I was advised to remove the seals but didn’t really understand why?

Re: TSR Evo pipe.
Fitted mine to a Mugello 198 on a Spanish S2 with a 150 casing without problems. Had to trim the rear footboard. Happy with the pipe and service. I’m starting to have sympathy with manufacturers, there are so many combinations now it can’t be possible to have a fit all without fettle exhaust can it ?

I bought one and used it twice, so much easier and less stressful in newly painted forks

Can’t do it now, but I root around parts fairs for old ones with a decent lining left.

Re: Scooter running on
It’s a friends scooter I’m trying to help him out remotely and I’m out of ideas. I’ll get him to check the choke, it’s a new SH1/20 air screw 1 and1/4 turns out. He bought the scooter a while ago and has only recently started running it. Idle does return to normal but takes too long. He stripped and...

Re: Scooter running on
Checked for air leaks, that was my first thought. Not cable I’ve done it manually at the carb.
Not checked the choke. - I’ll have a look. Thanks
