Some flywheels have a kind of brown coating inside. I assume its to stop the magnets rusting etc. Wont stop it working though in my experience.

Curious as to why you wouldnt use one with loose washer.

Have you checked the ring gap. Push the ring/rings in to top of cylinder a couple of cm using piston crown and make sure you have the required ring end gap by checking with feeler gauge. Cant recall what this should be on a cast barrel but sure some one will tell you. You may need to gently file the...

Mates got a gp topend bored out to 180cc with JL3 and delly 25 phbl. Any help with jetting advice would be very welcome.

Built one recently with 30 delly bgm pipe Li 150 gearing with 16/46. Owner is very happy with the result
