How much do they throttle any engine at above 5000 revs though?
Presumably if you do all your riding below 50mph, it'd be fine. But who does that?

Finally I've bit the bullet and swapped my trusty 22mm Dell'orto for a 25mm PHBL. I've always run standard carbs previously. How much would you want to change it? I'm fairly sure DRT make all sorts of different gearing options.

I've had some MC20 Monsums on my coop. SIP seems to be marketing them as rain tyres now. They weren't when I got them.
They are excellent in the wet. If I remember right.. they're good in the dry, but do wear quickly. My rear one is about half worn out inside 800km.
