Yes it sounds like they are siezed in the bushes
A combination of heat, lube and hammer is usually enough but at a push i have drilled them out in the past.
Time consuming and frustrating but you'll get there.

Got the RT20 kit on mine with 30mm Del'Orto and a sterling pipe on,used it to travel to IOW,Woolacombe and Bridlington,plus local running about and so far I can definately vouch for it,I've thrashed it on the motorways and it's taken it well and it 8-) doesn't mind pottering around on A roads eithe...
