Thats interesting re Imola reeds. I tried a 24mm Mikuni on an Imola with an RD reed fitted and it was hopeless...needed to put a 30mmPHBH on to achieve any sort of power...may reverse things

Scooter Centre had the new BGM 177 kit, at Meltdown this weekend. Think its around 299euro and designed as a bolt ontouring kit...looked nice

Indian flywheel lightened to 2kg, every other fin removed and balanced. Never an issue on an SR kit

changing from a Cam Lam ancillotti to a BGM clubman gave me 2bhp and1.5lb of torque on an SR barrel fitted with a reed valve. Not huge figures but it pushed it from 12 to 14 bhp..around 15% increase. Just a thought
