Re: Indian gearbox
I've never bought and fitted a full Indian gearbix, but 2 first gears. One was spot on and has been in use for 6years without issue. The other lasted a couple of weeks and the kickstarter teeth crumbled! I've just bought an indian close ratio box from AF but not fitted yet. It seems perfectly sound ...

Re: Phbh28 advice please
Thanks Dan. I'll leave where it all is for now so that I can ride to mick abbey in relative safety. It's about 50 miles, so far enough to do some harm.
I'll make the changes as you say before going on dyno. Got a top end rebuild for a mate to do tonight, then I'll do flow test.
Thanks again

Re: Phbh28 advice please
Here's the plug after 10 minutes of spirited riding. Not a proper plug chop but does indicate that it's slightly too rich to me.

Re: Phbh28 advice please
It feels boggy at wot. So I think I should go leaner on main. But I'm slightly worried about going too lean. Does 112 seem on the large side?

Re: Which Electronic Ignition Kit
The quality of manufacturing really isn't up to the mark. However, I can never understand why so few lambretta owners use a full DC system. The real Achilles heal in the traditional arrangement is the low tension coil; going full DC does away with this. The second issue is AC regulation which is har...
