Ok i'm back again! I got a honda switch to put in and it's a lot more straight forward than i thought. However, the body of the switch is square and of course the inside of the headst it curved. Which means that the switch doesn't fit inside the hole properly. There is a small keyway on the aperture...

I can't find the switches on the scootrs website but i would appreciate some info on the connections.

Ok so today i took the air hose off and after a few kicks it started. Had to have the throttle screw fully in but of course then the tickover is very high, then i turned the choke back off and it died. Got it started again eventually ticking over fine. Ok tried to suss it out again today but me the novice and a seasoned scooterist couldn't get it started, gave up after half an hour. Tried heating the plug up twice, still no joy. I have thought about the fuel issue after reading a few things on here. i have been trying to run as much fuel through it as i can to flush the tank out. It's running though a filter, and having the carb off dozens of times i do get a bit of sediment in the carb bowl but the jets are always clear. S...

Ok, it's got fuel and spark, can't be 100% about the air mixture??? The plug was wet when i took it out. Electronic kit is brand new. After it's been left for a few weeks i can't get it to start. It's a resto on an Li. Newly built 175 conversion. ScootRS exhaust, 22mm jetex. air scoop is on.
