Re: DC electrical System?
There's no limit on your number of questions Monty ;) . I hope this doesn't come back and bite you? Is there any chance of a quick sketch please? Just to be clear in my block of wood, you now have two yellow wires from your BGM, Yellow 1 is the normal standard wire, where does this connect too? Yel...

Re: DC electrical System?
Hi Soulsurfer. I’m thinking of carrying out this conversion, when I look at your link http://www.forums.ilambretta.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16166&hilit=podtronics&start=0 the photo of the installation of the podtronic unit shows one yellow wire is connected to the rectifier. Where does ...

Re: 1965 li 150 italian crankshaft
There are some massive forces indeed happening around the crank and the crank pin especially, if the pressure fit of the pin is only marginally out there may be trouble. I found this of particular interest it’s not really relevant to a scoot but the principles are the same, beats punching the numb...

Re: mugello,monza or ts1
Thanks for the replys, maybe I should have started another thread here sorry, however I’m still in the market for such a kit also and I have been watching the engine poll closely. Quite clearly the TS1 is popular kit in the poll, and given the short amount of time the RB has been around it also sc...

Re: mugello,monza or ts1
I'd say the tried and trusted TS1......easy to get hold of, lots of jetting specs avaialble, can be tweaked for a touring tune or a race tune just as easily......... Can the TS1 be fitted straight out of the box withot mods to the barrell? Does the engine case need to be modified in anyway to excep...

Fluoroelastomers (FPM/FKM) Well known compounds include Viton® from DuPont Performance Elastomers, Tecnoflon® from Ausimont Spa, and Dyneon® from 3M Dyneon. Chemical properties Fluoroelastomers operate efficiently under severe chemical conditions and at higher temperatures where many other seal m...

Re: Viton Oil Seals..??
I would be interested how the viton seals and crank perform together over time. The viton seal is a robust devil for sure, and I see viton seals that far outlast the running surface they are sealing against. This is usually the result of prolong running at a given pressure resulting in a groove bein...
