Re: ACF 50 rust killer

Aye, good stuff, I spray a little then rub it over and further with a rag, I had similar problem with my chrome forks and dampers, never troubled again.

Re: New lml or old Vespa??

Few years ago, I managed to get a new LML, less engine, then installed a px200 lump, albeit tuned. http://lmlocgb.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=499 https://bz0raw-sn3302.files.1drv.com/y3pvXy8CnH2SbOApl39Sf6Nq9a1phxxezzwuBOqxZ-vqL9-ES9doDa-P7T-p_TqTqyfrYWgL6e0KVVzlMTuIgZpee-zDyBCyYQw-zkJGaIiw...

Looking forward to the completed rebuild, I'm sure it will look fab if your previous jobs are anything to go by.

Re: Painting engine cases

Personally, unless it's a show bike I'm not in favour of painted, or powder coated engine cases, IMO it's adding a thermal blanket to the motor, usually we would like means to dissipate heat and every opportunity to reduce running temps.

Re: ts1 best gearbox ?

Aye, looking forward to it after the challenges of 3rd-4th on Italian gp200 box. 19x46 on Italian gp200 box was a challenge to far and ended up on 18x47 on my Monza 225 with Franspeed race, but with this box am hoping to go 19x47.

Many thanks for the gearbox, new and mint, arrived promptly, that'll be a task to do when the scoots off the road during the winter.
Much appreciated.

Re: Recomend me a timing light/gun please ?

I use this one as do many others. You may find it cheaper but this is the first one that popped up on e bay. You need a battery to use it. Simple but effective and accurate. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Draper-52616-Pistol-Grip-Xenon-Timing-Light-/190343086167?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2c5155...

you need weight & dimensions of box.
+1 to get an idea, although some are reluctant to move engine parts which they only tell you after filling in their forms and reading the T&Cs

City_Link moved the last one for me. sorry, i'll get my coat
