Re: Bgm-177
Not overly convinced by them as yet but await to be hopefully pleasantly surprised. The Lammy piston issue will make me hold off until there's some miles on them. Think at the moment I'd be more likely to go Polini Evo or Parmakit.

I'd guess directly from Pinasco and if not through VE.

Re: Choosing an exhaust is a nightmare!! - Help. Please
Standard T5 system was really good but doubt you'll find one these days. Taff IV Goldline was great with kitted bikes but again nearly impossible to get these days. Told the JL systems are good but no experience personally and nothing newer on the market in recent times unless some of the box pipes ...

Re: Big Sam
It's ammusing and tragic in equal measure, the fella who's after Hoddle should take long lay down in a dark, cool room. David Icke would be a better choice and he's had no experience of any Management. Still, you'd get get good sound-bites about oily shape-shifting lizards cheating the off-side trap...

Re: Pipe Design Exhausts
Which part of my post didn't you understand? ;) I think I understood your post fine, if I've missed something then please enlighten me. Jist is you pay with a creditcard and can claim back if the service isn't as quick or as efficient as you'd like. Question still stands that if you're happy to pay...

Re: Pipe Design Exhausts
Do you pay up-front for something that is "not in-stock"?

Re: Pipe Design Exhausts
I'd have to disagree with you here. I'm not in scooter trade but I'm pretty sure the majority who are on here would never expect full payment upfront. If you have the part ready to go then that's different of course. I'm in roofing and I've never, ever asked for anything upfront other than material ...

Re: Pipe Design Exhausts
I'm just wondering why you'd pay anyone fully up-front simply because it's a scooter part? You certainly wouldn't pay your builder fully upfront for an extension nor your Plumber for a new central heating system. So why some Geezer from another Country who, odds on, you'll never meet? Is it because ...

Re: Your First scooter /first car ?
First scooter was a V90 bonedown, horrible piece of shite but it cost me a tenner around 84 or 85. First proper road legal was a PK 50 S B 936 ORS, a year old and think it cost me £345. Brilliant, loads of my mates had PK's when at school or just left. First car was a Viva HC Estate in maroon. The b...
