Nova, do it online, no certificate required. When you send in v55, mot, date cert, fee (£55, plus tax, £17 (?)) They will check its novad online. Did my gp recently, no insurance required, honest! I don't know what you are going to try to register but I had a problem with an SIL GP. DVLA would not accept a dating certificate as proof of the year of manufacture for an age related plate.
