GP rear bulb. Anybody know what the socket type is?

I'm looking for an red rear bulb as I've got a coloured rear lens. I've been looking at led ones on eBay, and they list types of fittings, for example a BAY15D fitting.

Does anybody know what type of fitting/socket or what ever it's called for a GP rear bulb?

Re: badly fitting GP headlight rim.. what can I do?

With Martin giving me a spanking over the dry build...! It was actually a strip, paint and assembly of a working scoot. It was a bit of a last minute thing to put that rim on, as the original went missing in action. Only thing that was a bugger to fit was that back brake inner, can't recall where I ...

Re: home tuning a rapido 225?

The Piston looks good and should suite the reed block well. I'd speak to Mick Abbey tell him what you want form the kit and get him to blend it all for you with the possibility of some extra boost ports cut into liner and I'm sure you will not be disappointed with the results or the level of servic...

Re: home tuning a rapido 225?

I like the idea of that piston, is it something you had done yourself? Is it as expensive as it looks? Had done by a place we've been using for coating exhausts and so on. They also do a knock off anodised finish which looks awesome on engine casings and hubs, and can coast plastic (Vespa head cowl...

Re: Clutch advice needed

Demon Tweaks had some kind of lever kit that helped stiff clutches, I remember a club member getting one on her Imola. I've an old Demon Tweaks catalogue somewhere. I'll see if I can find out more!

badly fitting GP headlight rim.. what can I do?

This is Italian, bought from SR, fitted to Italian headset top and bottom. I don't want to 'force it' for obvious reasons. Any ideas? http://i605.photobucket.com/albums/tt135/adriang1968/DL200/IMG_1450.jpg http://i605.photobucket.com/albums/tt135/adriang1968/DL200/IMG_1449.jpg One of the downsides t...

Re: BGM Stator Failures

Got one here wouldn't rev out on an RB250, swapped with an Indian, and all OK. Since had the coil replaced and it's all OK. Was 'on the shelf' for ages, unused, so not appropriate to return.

Re: Warm weather & jetting

Couple of points to add here.. hopefully not to cause confusion. I remember a long time ago reading an article in some bike magazine about GP bikes (in the 2-stroke days) experimenting with various environmental factors like cold air into the carbies. Don't think there were ways to consistently prov...

Re: home tuning a rapido 225?

Chris, pretty sure it's the race. Got it second hand, unused a few years ago. Daz, got one of the v2 reed valve kits ready to put on. Toying with the idea of putting in this, which is the piston out of an unused RB225 kit. http://i605.photobucket.com/albums/tt135/adriang1968/RB225/IMG_1381.jpg It's ...
