Re: Help!! Keep breaking reed petals in a TS1
Hi Hendy,
How much can you take of the top of the manifold, safely, about a mill, less?
My thought on the packer was it may reduce blow bag from any misfire.
Cheers

Help!! Keep breaking reed petals in a TS1
Any ideas appreciated before I set fire to this scooter... :x I’ve just destroyed either the 4th or 5th set of reeds in a year, I’ve lost track! I haven’t even taken the reed block off this time, I just know what the problem is  TS1 with MB Race Tour tune it’s been on two different engines, one...

Re: Protti ground clearance
Hi Gary, Took the pipe/bike for a dyno a few weeks back and it made good power but only about 14lb torque. The tuner also mentioned in his opinion the narrow diameter of the pipe into the silencer would eventually feed heat back into the head. I’d bought it for the run to Spain but with the clearanc...

Re: Protti ground clearance
Thanks Scott, hope the exhaust delivers what I want but it’ll be interesting to know if I’m avoiding every speed bump I come across

Re: Protti ground clearance
I did consider 10mm of the stub and the insert, but there’s also only about 2/3mm clearance underneath where the head cowl meets the mag flange. I had to trim the bottom of the cowl and the packer to get that much otherwise it would have been even lower :? Also tend to think when someone has worked ...

Protti ground clearance
Evening folks, Anyone else using a Protti on a TS1? Just put one on my GP and have about 85mm of ground clearance :o Pretty sure it’s on right, well real sure I suppose. Think that may even be lower than the Evo I had on it last year. Measured the fran3 on the other TS1 and it’s about 120mm at the l...

Re: Imola after market inlet manifold
Bugger! This may post twice as hit the wrong button!
just fitted the RH short version to a TS1, only three bolts as you say but no air leaks when tested. Nice bit of kit.

Re: Mito Lambretta dealer info, or Jolly feedback...
That’s the second positive feedback I’ve heard about JM’s so probably take that over the stratos.
Gary,
That CST 5 what does it rev to on your TS1 and is it standard barrel? Also any noticeable dip in power between 4000-5000 rpm?
