Just had cutting out and starting problems after changing and checking parts it turned out to be the end of the HT that screws into the CDI unit had burnt back a few mm a new HT lead fitted no more problems its worth checking

Thanks to both of you for the advice the mounts that failed came from MB so would expect them to be genuine sill i will check the cones when i replace the faulty mounts i do like the sound of the extra long ones from Andy Francis i will check these out thanks again

Has anyone got any advice ref engine mounts ive just built a new 200 engine only mildly tuned i used genuine sil engine mounts fitted in the correct position as per stickys book but after just 295mls the o/s one has completely collapsed & the rubber has broken away from the metal
