Good ride there from chorley shite ride home. Killer wind on A64/59. My TS230 drank like a navvy and mates Li burnt clutch out 12 mile from skipton. We waited with him for two n half hours for recovery van then myself an mate on jet with 200 rapido made it home about 10.30pm

Try removing the rear shock and either get someone to lift rear of frame or use a jack it should give you more clearence to get side case off.

Check the float needle is sealing correctly. Had this problem on a mates and after swapping for a new one all was good. Good luck in resolving this.

Msg corrado on here he supplied me with the nuts for this reason. Think the sip nuts will bottom out on split rims.

Used dellys many times over the years and had good results but if your engines a standard 200 i would considder one smaller than 30 mil as you will prob get the same result but with better fuel economy.

I had to make the pin slot 2 or 3 mm longer on a mates as it was doing same thing

personally if the engine was untouched from SIL the first thing I would have done was swap the crank as these are known for being poor quality. if not swapping the crank then get it split and rebuilt with better bearings. if this has already been done previous to your mate running the motor then the...
