Re: Olympia??

I've had about a dozen sets from him and they are the best rims I've seen this side of NOS Innocenti items.
They are actually made by Tutto Lambretta, and I'm sure somebody mentioned Scootopia would be stocking them soon, so maybe they might be worth trying.

Re: Olympia??

Unlike a lot of websites items not in stock do not show up in the standard listings, but the link from the home page still works. Keep trying he usualy has more stock within a week. Must say its one of the better sites to navigate.

Re: Ordering 2k paint online

They do have a web site

http://www.lambretta-paints.co.uk/shop

I've only bought touch-up pots and aerosols from them, but they have been very good. I have an original paint Li and had to replace the rear hub and rims, the aerosols were ideal to paint them, and were a very good match.

Re: please help am being really thick

I don't think these are for use in a lathe tailstock, but may fit in your headstock, they are more for milling, drill presses and dividing heads. Would seem to be a #3 Morse taper with internal 10mm bore, the M12 will be the thread at the rear of the collet into which the draw-bar fits to tighten it...

Li125 gearing

Standard Li125special engine with standard gearing, same as GP/DL125. Goes through the gears well but is very revy in fourth, almost could do with a fifth gear. Thinking of trying a 16 tooth front sprocket, has anyone got experience of this? Will the motor pull the bigger sprocket?

Re: Process to make a 3mm R1 spacer

Buy some "soft jaws" for your chuck, same as your hard jaws but made from mild steel, these can then be bored to suit whatever O/D and depth you need to hold.

Re: Some Series 1 questions

The stand will be the same as any other Series1 or 2, the brackets you need are these http://scoot.net/gallery/bbs/splashbracket.jpg and are held with 8 M5 nuts and bolts, there is a matching splash plate, later models had one early models didn't. All these parts are available remade from any Casa L...

Re: Restored to original Lambretta showcase

Four of mine, never had enough imagination or talent to do anything more than bog standard restorations  Although I did go "Custom" with the SX and fitted a late model polished horn grill and mudguard strip. CRAZY! TV200 http://scoot.net/gallery/bbs/cuf1.JPG http://scoot.net/gallery/...

Re: tv series II seatcover : available in black ?

TV175 Seriess2 seat covers are infact lower and wider than Series 3 covers.
Should be easily available from any Casa dealer in black. I've had a couple from scootopia (casa lambretta uk) this year.
