25mm dellorto

200 Rapido Classic with 42mm clubman, 25mm phbl through the airbox with std SX200 gearing.

Can anyone recomend an initial jetting setup for the carb?

Cheers for the reply, I'll stick with the 3 ring by the sound of it, I know someone building an Indian stg 4 with 30mm dellorto and jl3, sounds like the cut piston will be better suited to this.

Shortened skirt on Asso piston

Probably been covered before, but I'm building a 200 Rapido Classic and have the choice of Std 3 ring asso piston and a 2 ring asso with the inlet skirt shortened by 3mm. Will be running 42mm clubman, 25mm phbh through the airbox with std SX200 gearing. What benefit or disadvantage does the shortene...

Info for thickies needed. :?
Std 3 ring 66.2 lambretta piston, came with 2 chrome rings and 1 std ring,
in which order should they be fitted :idea:

is that the copper coloured ones? squeal like buggery..
Fitted a set of these a couple of years ago, very effective but only had to touch the lever and as mentioned they squealed, is there a cure for this?

I'm looking to buy a standard cast iron 200 cylinder and have noticed some for sale on a certain well known internet auction site. Advertised as Italian made, I was told by the seller they are made by MEC and supplied by VE-UK, has anyone had experience of using these cylinders? Would welcome anyone...
