Just handy to know,if tyre size makes a difference,as i use rev counter as speedo.

tyre size-gearing
i'm thinking of putting a 100/90 tyre on wide rims,anybody any idea how much,if at all it lowers gearing compared to a 3.50?

crownwheel too deep?
hello,fitted 48 tooth lightened,machined crownwheel today.Unfortunately the clutch springs become coil bound before the pressure plate hits the bottom of the crownwheel.Can still fit 4 plates,but the clutch slips,and drags! So,do i need shorter springs?-tried mb,end taff ones. Or a different pressur...

Seems to be good all rounder. quite revvy,been running one on a fairly conservative cast barrel.Revs to 9-9.2 in 2nd and 3rd.
Will rev to 8 in 4th. shortened mine ,and modified mounting bracket,so it doesn't stick out from rear footboard.They'll make one with stub fitting too.

yes,the hook end nearest spring fits in hole nearest pedal pin,use a spring puller to pull arm over pedal.
