It's a rose joint actually. Plain bolts/holes would be locked in place and couldn't rotate.
Cheers.

Re: REMADE ORIGINAL DISCBRAKES : ITALIAN OR SCOOTRS TYPE ?
Hopefully someone can give you firsthand knowledge, as ours is a fairly perfect repro and much higher quality as various shops have replied after seeing them, but the main quality difference you need to understand is that the 2 main pieces of the Italian one are merely sand cast . Ours is high press...

Re: Why disc fork links? Innocenti tech historians, apply here
the newer backplate had a stronger support for the forklink pin, which couldn´t crack. they found out after tests, that this change was sufficient for safety and there was no need for the tv-design on a slower (and cheaper) li. I forgot the s1 tv used them. But it came out before the s1 LI, right?...

Why disc fork links? Innocenti tech historians, apply here
Can anyone explain exactly why Innocenti changed the fork links to the disc type with the S2 TV175 (using a drum), and why they used them on later disc brake models but not other S3 models?

Cezeta: >>most uk suppliers stock the scoot rs disc and will also sell you the same nissin copy master cylinder >>if you want to avoid failure then buy the genuine part ScootRS only uses and sells genuine Nissin master cylinders and calipers . Re: ScootRS part nearly killed me!
I have no idea how anyone could read a clear post and then make up a story about ignoring anyone or anything, or accusing anyone of lying, etc. We did no such thing. This is why companies do not respond about customer issues on forums, I guess. I responded simply to show clearly why there should not...

Re: ScootRS part nearly killed me!
To give some perspective here, these levers are used on tens of thousands of scooters , as well as with disc kits made and sold by UK and German companies, etc. And on ScootRS kits. Personally, I've neither heard of, nor seen, a single lever breaking in all the years we've sold them. Nor, for that m...

Re: ScootRS Disc brake - UK stockist?
Please order from Scooters-rock. He clearly does care about quality from conversations we've had. Here's a post he made on here before: if your buying make sure you get the ScootRS type (pressure cast) as opposed to the Sterling/SPAQ type (sand cast) - we have seen one of the pepperpot styles crack ...

Re: Carburettor Kit Suggestions Please
I was thinking of the 30mm, and saw no photo up of the 24mm, sorry. Shows what little I know
Why did I used to read that the 24 Mikuni is a nightmare to get the jetting set well on? Or was that the 28TM? The 35tmx is certainly nice on an RB.

Koso: I thought original PWK spares work/fit, same as on the PWK we sell. Thus not a worry, no?
