thanks grant it does seem to be the way to get it off my last build Spanish li150 the mag just came off using two6mm bolts

that's the trouble the crank is stuck in bdc but I will try it and hopefully get it out

hxpaul thanks what a good idea will try that tomorrow I think I will still heat the casing up as well as I don't need crank

I haven't got the crank out yet its stuck solid this has been stood 35 years not rotten infact I have just got the frame back from sandblasting and its like a new one I have tried the bolts and stripped one it will not budge

hi my latest project li special mag housing will not budge and iam frightend I break the casing I have heated it up no joy the barrel and piston were the same but have managed to get them off with no damage
