Get yourself an adjustable bolt on bracket and play about with the position until you are happy with it...THEN weld the bracket on 8-) I welded mine so that the tie bar is 90 deg to caliper plate BUT wish I had used an adjustable untill I was happy with the set up - as Coaster suggests :) Its not f...

I'm running a Marchand filter on an Avanti ,which seems OK but was wondering if there is any thing better out there so Ill watch this thread with interest :D

I recently fitted one and it wasn't until I tested it that I found the float was stuck . :roll:

I had slightly bent the pick up tube during installation but a quick fettle and its now fine

Worth a look if you haven't already
