Re: New 200 SIL stripdown ... Grit and sand...!!

My SIL engine bought in January was quite OK, crank was perfect, no grit, C3 decent main bearings (but changed to euro-spec), big adn small- end bearings also renewed. Chain was slack. But my engine had been put together in 2005, as there was a "2005" painted somewhere on the casings, mark...

Re: TV1 Second colour... Anyone can help?

Hi Super!

I have never, ever, seen such kind of TV1, they are like the spanish meigas,
Maybe that colour could be the "marrone antille" Lechler 8044, but I'm not sure if it was the shade you are looking for

Re: DC light switch on AC machine?

Hi, Thanks for you input. At least I will be able to use one VOUS (very old used stock) switch in my Eibar TV S2. Maybe it's a 8-wire switch series 2 based, as grey and purple are present. At least there is -the brown wire, which splits at the bullet connector and goes to the horn -plus the white ho...

DC light switch on AC machine?

I have got more than 3 switches, all the 8-cable ones, from various origins (india, one dead Casa brought back to life, and another one of dubious -spanish or italian- origin). All them are the typical Series 3 trapezoidal unit. I intend to fit them in 3 project scoots, featuring an AC 6-pole electr...

Re: NEW INDIAN 200cc ENGINES - experiences

I've had 2 new indian engines so far. -1st one, came fitted in one of the last new GPs, dated 1997. Thanks to 206 supercup's advice, one year ago I took it apart by myself to change bearings. It was 2500 miles old but did not sound smooth on tickover, as if there was kind dodgy bearing. Chain was a ...

Re: RB20 (200cc) - Pictures and Spec

A really interesting post. And I wonder why the heck I bought a new 200cc engine (now being rebuilt) for my project, having a Spare top-end-less small block serveta one...

Re: Check out the Targa Twin....

Whats the gearing like? Seems to need mega revs when setting off?? Wow... now you are good.... I have no idea, you need to ask Charlie about it. But my wild guess is that it needs to be a bit long gearing, due to the power output. Correct me if I am wrong. ;) First gear is quite tall, and the bike ...
