measurement needed

Can anyone measure me the diametre of lammy fork legs please where a damper top mount would fit, trying to draw up some clamp on damper mounts and cant find my vernier.

Okeydoky looks like ive waisted my money then, only got a drum brake on but its so good youve only to touch it and the bike dives and stands on its nose better than my PM disk on the gp.
Looks like its time for some stiffer springs and the fork rebuild I was trying to avoid.

Front damper question

Just bought a new pair of Escort front dampers for my series 2 and while playing around with them noticed they only damp on the rebound, is this correct. I expected them to damp in both directions, hoping they would remove some of the front end dive when braking.

I have been asked four times in the last couple of months to make replacement pegs for the stainless kickstarts that have holes all the way up them if thats what we are talking about so it must be quite a common occurance. Maybe a liberal portion of loctite on the thread would be a good idea for any...

Thats a bit oldhat these days when you can get 35w halogen bulbs that fit directly into lammy bulbholders and excellent 360 degree led rear bulbs that are way better than the early sparkright bulbs, i can sort you out with any of these if require just pm me.

I say leave it as it is i reckon it looks absolutely perfect, the shape and colour suit it far more than the standard seat does.
