Mine's still being used daily and is running well. Sadly, because it is being used daily I've not actually messed around with it as much as I'd have like to (trying out various configurations). Loose endplate is the normal reason, which would need sorting before it ruins the threads in the casing.

Thanks for the replys, interesting Adam the guy that tunes my barrel/piston also runs a 22 delly. He's saying leave the 28 with a remote filter and see howbit goes so I think I'll give it a go and see if the performance is affected. Havebheard Cam/Lam have a new filter out.. :? Hi Timbo, A 22mm is best served (IMO) on a modified/tuned/kitted motor through the use of a modified airbox and decent sstandard type filter. Yes, a foam filter can work but watch out for the silly little ones available, which actually have a very small surface area when compared to a standard shape...
