Re: Rally 200 Re-build

I will happily confess to know very little about Vespa's

But on your last photo, the red box (which I guess is the Kytronic), you have the wires in between the connectors.
Should they not be on the connector's themselves ??

Re: Bolt-on Adjustable Powerjet Tube Length

By the way Adam, when use say adjustable powerjet, presume you just mean twiddling the adjuster on the top.

I'm sure a few years back when I was looking to try a power jet, that you can get some electronically controlled ones.

Worth considering ???

Re: If it isn't broke........

have to say when I ran with lightened AF flywheel, used to take about 1ml off inside of mag housing to take stator back a tad.

Also now don't use said flywheels, seem to get too many eratic timings.

Mid range lightened SIL flywheel seems to be the way to go nowadays

Re: Tool Box Door

Think the ones Tim does are fibre glass.

I just put an advert in wanted section (or maybe facebook lambretta for sale), and managed to get a home made metal one.

Lambretta S1/S2 rear runners

I'm thinking of replacing plastic runners on my S1, with stainless one, so I can get them powder coated to better match rest of scooter. However whenever I look on line at the stainless rear runners, they look to be a different shape to the plastic ones. The metal ones, the inside and outside one on...

Re: dial-a-jet on a tmx 35 mm with power jets

Great fuel consumption when riding with everyone else elc (unless opened up) Nice and easy for pottering around town etc Can feel powerjet kick in when opened up Never ...

Re: Wassel Failure

OK, here goes, few years ago, had similar problems myself. Seemed OK, would run for 10 miles or so then die. Leave an hour orso and started OK again This happened time and time again. In end for differnet reasons was using engine for another project and was gonna get powder coated. When had stripped...
