Piston bottoming out
Hi all I have a Mugello 186 which I have fitted with a Mecure 60mm crank. I had to dremel the case a bit to get it to turn smoothly as it was touching slightly. Now I have mounted the piston I see it is touching slightly at BDC is it just a case of shortening the piston a bit or is it more serious. ...

Fag 6305.2zr
I´ve started building my engine this weekend and have just noticed that the drive side bearing is a 6305.2ZR is this bearing OK to use or do I need to get another one. Its the one with 2 metal covers so you cant see the bearings.

Re: Kick Start Jamming??
A friend of mine had this problem and on inspection I found that the spring cap hadn`t been put properly on the front sprocket. It should line up but if you just tighten it up without aligning it it goes solid causing this problem.

I picked this up from a Junkyard about 2 months back, I received a call whilst I was at work telling me there was a lambretta in the scrap metal merchant in Palma. So as soon as I had finished work I flew up to Palma and paid the hugh sum of 150 euros. I put the bike in the back of my Opel Meriva an...

Re: cheapy exhaust
When I say I have 8 Lambrettas that doesn't mean they are all show winners quite the opposite, Luckily people keep offering me bikes for 300 euros a piece and I just can't say no. The other month some bloke offered me a Lince 200 with no engine for 200 euros in boxes and well the forks are probably ...

Re: cheapy exhaust
Thanks for that advise Muttley Mcladd, I have been totaly put off now. There are a couple of wicked corners near to my house and I'm sure I would destroy the pipe sooner or later.
