Update on this setup. It seems to pick up satellites perfectly, I have fitted the sensor under horncast and wired the hot start connection into the loom before ignition so it gets a permanent feed to track satellites , turn ignition on and it runs thru the speedo start up procedure( 20-30seconds) an...

It's not a scootrs Wheel it's a Saigon scooters as scootrs doesn't do a pepperpot hub

how close?
anyone know how close the cowling should be to the barrel in this area , should it touching or just close?

the shim is to put under the cone to allow fitment of fatter tyres i believe

i would just marker pen inside of hub and edge of casing and keep fitting and turning and relieving metal where the marker pen is rubbed of

have you fitted the brake shoes? as some casings have the brake cam hole too high
