Re: Two Carbs
That's interesting. So the left hand one might just as well have been used on both 150's and 200's in which case. I'd assumed the later one might have been adapted to improve the flow of air and improve the mixture perhaps, looking rather similar to the Dell'orto 22mm carbs and possibly being only f...

Two Carbs
Two Spanish 20mm carbs. There is a difference, as the eagle eyed among you will note. I don't know the technical term for it and what effect the longer spout has, but why is this? Would I be correct in assuming that one might be for a 150 and t'other for a 200? http://i1000.photobucket.com/albums/af...

Re: Scary stuff

Dont take one picture out of context there are a lot of Lambrettas out there that are perfectly happy, many are pushed well beyond their original design limits with the power of modern motors and stresses of track racing and sprinting. I think an application of a good visual check before fitt...

Re: Fork springs
Nothing that would stand up in a court of law and technically I didn't make an assumption. However, can I ask you did you or did you not boast that they were British made originally?

Re: Fork springs
Well, whoever it is, Mark or Ian now we know. I made an observation which I believe to be correct.

Re: Fork springs
I'm sure MB used to claim that they were made in the UK. Although I looked recently and there is no mention of their origin so presumably they are now sourced from outside the UK. Two and two = ?

Re: Scary stuff
That's worrying. I've got a spare Spanish layshaft in the shed. :shocking: I thought it would be fine, being Spanish as their engineering seems pretty good generally.dirtyhandslopez wrote:Innocenti-71 wrote:I had a spanish one go like that one, just got off the freeway. Luckily.

Re: 12 Volt Conversion
Well, here is a thread back from the dead. No, mine is a Triumph type with lots of raked fins. The one you are referring to is said to be one done for AF Rayspeed I believe. I only know that because there was one on e.Bay a while ago.
