I think my gearing might be an issue. I have fitted an sx200 gearbox with 46/15 sprockets . same overall gearing as mine then 4.8-1, I'm guessing yours must be making quite a bit more torque than mine so go an extra tooth on the front. I would also spend my cash with a seller who is straight up with you if you can get same elsewhere. Was told the same 'ricambio'. I asked over the phone just if a remade rear mudguard was going to be straight good fit, holes drilled correctly, etc. Was told yes , made by' Casa' !!! Just be straight ...

Got a varitronic ignition. If timing is not set up correctly. Would this have a big effect on fuel ?

Swings and roundabouts. Pulled into for MOT and noticed the rear tyre was going down as he was testing brakes . Chance of that happening, first puncture after 20 minutes on the road. Will check on the tap fitted, but quick nosey in the tank, it looks low on petrol, when having to switch on reserve. Plug looks ok, colour.

Crikey. Bit of difference. No leaks, lol. Does goes through gears quick. Standard sx200 gearing. 4th gear does seem very low, high revs. Was filled with fuel can, 5 litres, only should have mentioned. How much does the reserve hold roughly, fast flow tap fitted ? Do I need to alter gearing, sprocket...
