No idea. But Chiselspeed's "Fat Lass" makes 30+bhp, no welding, no extra ports, standard fan, cowls etc.

Re: my grp6

if it was just for racing I would say keep it simple, if you want it to look cool and use it on the road as well, then go for it. some good ideas. nice 'box' to keep clean lines and gubbins tidy, fuel in frame for race mode, and 'detachable' cool looking belly pan for road mode.

Re: my grp6

I think the belly pan looks cool, probably a load of hassle and may get bashed if you come off tho.

Why not put your juice in that wooden seat hump, or a normal tank :o would;t need a fuel pump then

Re: Are the clutch plates on my AF 6 Plate clutch knackered?

If it's an AF 6 plate you don't need a vice to take it apart or put it back together, just undo the Allen keys. Im guessing something else is wrong, I doubt it will need new plates, well I hope not....for your sake....because they are very hard to come by.

Re: building a sprinter

Cool.

If you want to take part in straightliners events, then the first job is to pick a class.
Go to http://www.100mphscooter.com/class-rules.html

Warning: The classes are likely to see a re-jig for next year!
The new classes are yet to be announced, at the moment this is the best guide we have.

Re: Sand casting in our workshop!

I'd love to have a go at casting, there's quite a bit of info on the web about it, including the various grades of ally etc

Can't you just melt down an old one? or have I been watching too much 'Worlds Fastest Indian' :)
