couldn't agree more with all you've said especially the advantage of readily accessible archived info and the ability to expand posts into meaningful conversation instead of clipped abbreviated text speak from cellfones u no wot i men..... Speaking from a purely selfish point of view as a retired se...

Crikey its quiet in here ..iet in here...in here... here..

Re: On a mission to combat noise

When off the stand, does it have the rubber bump stop on the small spigot to prevent it from rattling against the underside of the runner board? Do you have the strengthening plates between the V of the centre stand brace? Is the stand spring tensioned correctly or has it stretched. Do you have the...

On a mission to combat noise

My LiS 185 must be the noisiest scoot out there . Absolutely everything seems to buzz and rattle and almost drowns out the noise of the 42mm Clubman ...well ok not that bad... The stand seems to be the worst culprit . its an aftermarket chrome jobbie and looks the nutts but the blasted thing i...

Re: camera

1080 is adequate I find. Any videos that are uploaded to youtube are processed and reduced to a lower quality anyway. Let me know when you have uploaded a video I'd like to see how your 185cc worked out . I find Windows Movie maker 2.6 is a very good easy to use video editing software and its free t...

Re: Casa Kit on 6 volts?

Just a quick update for anyone who may be interested! Fitted kit on Sunday, on 6 volts, with a Dellorto 22mm carb, and an AF 42mm exhaust. Absolutely love it. Been out today, and it has transformed scoot. Flew up hills in 4th, which it struggled to get up in 3rd with old top end! Loads of low down ...

Re: Casa Kit on 6 volts?

What camera did you use for your video last year? Would like to do one of a run, but not wanting to spend too much, and not sure which to get! I use a Mobius which is very compact and HD quality video. You can attach to your computer and configure it to do various file formats and video quality and...

Re: Casa Kit on 6 volts?

Hi Johnny, Nice to hear from you, and glad, after all your issues towards the end of last year, you are now up and running! As I have mentioned in my post yesterday, really pleased with the Casa kit. I was expecting to have to go 12 volt, but, touch wood, all seems fine. Running the 22mm dellorto, ...

Re: Casa Kit on 6 volts?

I know 12 volt electronic ignition is recommended, but just curious to know if anyone is running a kitted scooter, still on original 6 volt points system, and if so, does it run okay? Reason I ask, is that I have a standard LIS 150, still on 6 volts, for which I have bought a Casa 185 kit, as I want...
