ye ive been using conti twist sports the last couple of years and found them ok. rear only lasts about 2000 miles so ive got through ha few of them :( Snap, me too. Only getting around 1,200 miles on the back tyre, but the grip in either dry or wet is the most sure that I've ever had on any scooter...

As I understand it a liquidator can auction the stock and sometimes it can be bought by new business at a fraction of the new cost especially if it's done out of the area and you keep it quiet so no competitors can out bid you. Same here both times I have registered scooters and most times once covered on the frame number I was told I only had two weeks to get it done This must depend on individual insurance companies, as I've had imports insured on frame number only for years on my policy with FJ. There's never any issue...
