Is the disc fully floating? Has the disc got a circlip in it ? If so remove circlip and make sure disc is free on pins . Are the pads tight in the housings ? Also the cable needs to be as short as possible in fact nearly to short for it to work correctly reverse pull . Converting to hydraulic will i...

Cant you use an old cable as a guide or something similar ? And make sure you get a hose with the banjos already fitted , them ones you assemble yourself are nothing but trouble .

Thanks some good advice , does 0.5 mm difference alter the compression ratio at all

Squish & cylinder packplates
Hi fellas trying to set my squish on my TS1 if using a 2mm cylinder packer the squish is 0.93mm a bit close if l use a 2.5mm packer it will be 1.43 mm a bit excessive , wanted it at 1.2mm , any way around this ? Noboby sells a packer in-between these sizes .

Good choice , and your still using an 82 link chain
