Re: Which Kit??
you said decent! but then again, considering what you post out I suppose your view on decent differs to mine ;) Sorry should have included a new small-end bearing + top end gaskets = total nearer £90 (and we are talking the 2 x 1.5 piston ring in the quote) Go on then Eden...... pick a better pisto...

Re: Which Kit??
I have been trying to find the article/topic/link which I read a few months ago now, but the lads here at Scooterotica had a post explaining how they can port up a 150 cylinder with very empressive results. Re: Best carb for a TS1 + JL3
Why all the carb shortening and hole cutting when a genuine Keihin PWK (28/33/38mm) is the better carb allround without that hassle?

Re: gt 186
if it's getting too hot then there is a jetting/ignition/cooling issue that needs to be corrected. Also some of the replacement RD pistons have been known to drop ring pegs. It's a common problem. Last I researched this issue it looks like ProX pistons are the good ones and the Wiseco were the ones...

Re: Good Experiences with Dealers/Tuners?
Used Scooterotica to tune my barrel & they were first class & got it back to me in time. Beedspeed for parts. Everytime. years ago I used to use beedpseed, but about 10 or 12 years ago they started sending out some right s**t so I stopped ordering from them. :? Ah bet they did!: Wrong jets ...
