Re: NK Road v ADS 3
I'm sort of in right ball park with set up then - Mugello 225 with an Atomic mini reed...looks a copy of LTH/MB mini. Had a stage 4 tune and exhaust is 186 degrees, transfers 128 degrees. Crank is 60/110 so takes it up to 230cc. Gonna run it with an M-Tech retarder and set timing to 21 degrees with ...

Re: NK Road v ADS 3
I think my final drive ratio will be 4.5, going with that because I bought a 46T AF road clutch. 15/46 takes it to 4.8 and lose potential of pipe as not much over rev with them, so gone 16/46 but the final ratio step up to 4.5 is a big jump. The MB tuned TS that was 2 up with the Taffspeed pipe on s...

Re: NK Road v ADS 3
Cheers Fux, more positive views on using this pipe :) Last weekend at Cleethorpes was talking to a fella using an ADS3 with 16/46 SX200 and his mate who was pulling 4.4 with a Taffy MK4 both seemed really happy. One of my mates was running 16/46 SX200 Taffy MK4 TS1 with MB stage 2 touring tune and a...

Re: NK Road v ADS 3
Thanks for the replies. Rob D & Fruitjuice are those set ups running the NK or the ADS3 pipe? Rang AF the other afternoon and got an answer, but was then told to call back after 5 to speak to Ben and get a detailed reply ...tried for 2 days with no joy! I was told though that the NK's have just ...

Re: NK Road v ADS 3
If I do decide to let it go Donnie, I'll let you know first mate, still not sure whether to give it a go or not. Hi Joe, what gear ratio does that give you, it doesn't have the AF box listed on Scooterhelp gear calculator. Does it pull well low done when bike's loaded up? If 7K is 79mph then 8.7k mu...

NK Road v ADS 3
Going through all the umms and ahhs of what to use building up an engine, what gearbox, what link chain, what size crank and all the rest, sorted everything I want to use apart from pipe. Had bought an ADS3 and decided to go 4.5 SX200 16/46. Scooterhelp's gear calculator shows 67mph at 6k revs, if i...

Re: malossi 166 gearing
Cheers Ben. Am now looking for a straight cut 22T to try 22/65 on early PX125 gearing. DRT do one for about £80.00 but hoping there's a 2nd hand one out there somewhere. Scooterhelp shows 60mph at 6k in 4th, should run a bit better than 23/65. Still umming and ahhing about 60mm crank.

Re: malossi 166 gearing
Can't edit last post, had read about using 200 crank in a post on another forum by OZ, but read on a bit further and it looks like it needs some more work to casings or crank itself. What about this http://www.bgm-tuning.com/shop/cranksha ... 125-px150/?

Re: Pics of the SSC/Morris clutch??
Mine, that I was told was version 2, has lightening holes cut out of crown wheel and genuine Honda plates. Might end up using it now in a engine that's being put together to use up stuff that's laying about.
