Re: FAG NU2205E - but made in India!!
I would like to think that the QA of FAG, BMW, VW, Piaggio, Triumph etc. would stand for something and that they'd be carrying out enough checks to ensure their reputation stays intact as far as the quality of the product with their name on it is concerned. Thats just it ,we couldnt get the quality...

Re: FAG NU2205E - but made in India!!
After deciding to replace my Magneto side bearing and liking to buy local if I can (and if it's not too prohibitively expensive), I went to one of the local bearing shops (FAG agents among others). "Have you got any NU2205E bearings" I asked and got an afirmative "we have those from ...

Re: Rocho clutch help
I decided to fit the Rocho clutch, but Ive come across a problem :( Put it all together and went to kick it off and the kick start just went straight down with no bite whatsoever  I tried it before I put exhaust back on and there was compression. So decided to strip it again. Couldnt see owt...

Re: Messing about with a Gilera Runner
I saw a similar PV to this fitted to a cylinder MB did. Not sure if it was from a larger form of cylinder like Bombardier or SeaDoo. There are several problems, firstly the close proximity of the plastic parts to the exhaust and secondly the valve removes alot of fin cooling area in the place it is...

Re: Messing about with a Gilera Runner
Been having a play with Runner engines recently and thought I'd have a go at a barrel. This is what we came up with: Modified Malossi barrel, 66mm DT175 piston, iron liner, 55 stroke crank, Rotax Power valve, GT reed valve and manifold. These are the first 2, there is a 3rd to follow. The Runner en...

Re: new 5/6 plate clutch for lambrettas
Hi paul ,the 5 plates are good for high 20s and out perform its lambretta alternative , i machined the five plates due to requests but the casting allows for any plate combination so it really is down to what the individual requires as theyre all handbuilt anyway !
