Nothing wrong with NTN/SNR for the cylindrical roller bearings & here's a web page of a UK seller that might even discount to Club Members:

Having read the article myself, I thought I'd always done it wrongly, so decided to modify the route of the rear brake cable on my own SX (LH carburettor). I soon had to change it back as it caused issues with the spark plug cap. Even access to the plug itself was made difficult though I did perseve...

Yes, the 'bobbin' (that I run an M5 tap through) is effectively the nut on top of the struts with the screw (best is an M5 socket cap screw) on the underside with a large plain M5 washer either side of the strut because of the slots. Good to see this catching on as I've been using them for 30 odd years.

BTW, you can run an M5 tap through the button part then use an M5 screw & big washer on the underside.
