An interesting project Mick.
I have been watching your progress.
How are you lining up the rear and front wheels?
Do you have a jig?

Re: old scooter

So i reapplied. I then had to have SGS come and inspect it. I was slightly concerned as the frame number ...

Re: Fork clamp bolt
I could not get the cable to pass by the clamp. You might of already fitted it and had no problems. So i ground a bit off the clamp. As per photos. This then gave me room to slide in the cable without removing the clamp in the future. Again might not be the correct thing to do but its a fairly solid...

Re: Fork clamp bolt
Not sure if i have done right or wrong...but I just used an allen bolt with flat and spring washer on mine. It then gave lots of room to feed in the brake cable. I dremmeled slightly on the inside of the hole in the headset to take off the sharp edge. So that it would not cut into the brake cable. R...

Re: new resto projects
Ah right to the crank.
Maybe i shall seriously consider it for mine if it means i dont have to alter the crank.
Good luck with the inspection.
I am just in the process of filling in paperwork for my registration document.
