I run my 28/30mm PWK on my SR175 through a ram air filter.....
works a treat, and the filter tucks into where the box would have been.

Pull the magnetic sump plug and check for the dreaded filings....
I had an issue with a remade kickstart assembly fouling on the 1st gear and basket (only did it when engine was warm)
If you have filings you just need to look for the fresh shiney metal to tell where its coming from

Byron, The relay is activated by a current passing through the coil, activating an electric magnet, and making the switch. When AC was applied to the coil, you would be switching this coil on and off at the same rate as the frequency of the AC voltage. Not ideal for your application, and I doubt tha...

Personally, I always manually manipulate her into 4th gear, and adjust the cables from that starting point....
The MRB adjuster block helps with an easy setup too (but not essential)
