I agree with muppet most of the objections against the jetex carbs are just snobbery, there is nothing fundamentally wrong with them. There are two main problems, strip the carb removing the float valve and fuel filter cover, get a 2.2mm drill and carefully push it shank end first up the float valve...

Have a look at Harry Barlows new Kit can build 250 better plating and porting.

Harry has made two types of close ratio tree, both with the same number of teeth... 11, 13,( not 14 as previously said) 16, 18. The billet tree is intended for street motors as it uses the common loose gears from the sx/gp 150 and a 36 tooth 4th gear from the gp200.The billet tree uses the larger 50...

As mentioned the new billet tree is made from EN36b high grade steel used very commomly for gears, the original Italian and Spanish trees were tested (thanks! you know who you are)and found to be made of this material, almost the same composition of materials used for many years!
