Re: Pictures of Lambretta Super Monza Kit.....

"Main power is delivered at 5,500 to 8,000 rpm at 30 bhp. The torque line between 5,500 to 8,000 is completely flat at 20 ft lbs." you mean you have 30 bhp from 5500 to 8000 rpm AND the torque line is also staying at 20 ft lbs in the same rev range...? Gratulation for bending physics. It´...

Re: Super Monza!

i bought TS 225 # 35 in 1986. In the leaflet it said that it will only work with a anal powerjet carb and a Fresco pipe. Well...thinking the same with SM now, the day a 30mil dellshitto will outflow a Keihin or Mikuni or have better power at any part of the rev range I´ll bow and salute. Also regar...

Re: rd350lc piston with 107 rod?

exhaust and transfer timing stay the same if you take the difference in compression height from the bottom of the cylinder, i.e Lambretta 39mm and RD 350 36mm...so 3mm off bottom and you´re fine.

Re: mallossi type porting

I think on P2´s Malossi did a very good job finding a way to get more charge through the tiny transfers in the casing. Also making the transfer passage longer and transfers opening at slightly different times (mains first, secondarys second, boost last) is very good - both for midrange power. On th...

Re: Ancilotti Exhaust Failure

the Ancillotti has to be modified a bit on most engines, better said cylinders. I mentioned why it fits better onto a Mugello or Monza in an older thread, maybe this was on the old forum. Anyway, the box really has to slide onto the downpipe and be fixed without tension. Extending the holes for the ...

Re: so when is the power valve going to be the norm ?

I think heat (and it´s dissipation) is also a problem on aircooled cylinders on this position..
