The LML type is an angled plate that bolts through the bottom shock bolt.

Getting an age-related plate query
I have a Zundapp Bella with a current V5C, problem is it has an A-reg 1983 plate, issued when first registered in the uk.
It also states on the logbook DECLARED MANUFACTURED 1957, so in theory I don`t have to prove it`s age.
Is it possible to apply for an age-related 1957 plate?

Re: Insuring Converted Scooters
Cheers for that Holty, it all sounded great until I saw the dreaded no cover for Northern Ireland on his site

Insuring Converted Scooters
Just wondering if it`s straightforward or not to declare the changes to your insurance company after conversion and who would be the best to deal with?
My plan is to have a 500cc Tax and MOT exempt Zundapp Bella.

Re: Zundapp Bella Bike Engine Conversion
Yes Sash they are bloody wide fekkers!! The engine case sticks out a mile and the engine mounts are as wide as the legshields and floorboards on the Bella.

Re: Zundapp Bella Bike Engine Conversion
Not much progress to report, been out of action with a gammy neck this last few months. Stripped the ugly duckling of all unnecessary bodywork to see what was left. It actually looks ok as a bare ratter  The more I look at it the more the plan changes  http://img.photobucket.com/album...

Re: bajaj
The Bajaj engine is more like a Sprint engine, it uses the clutch side bearing type on both sides of the crank.

Re: Px125/150 upgrade.
Simple and easy option...buy a P2 engine, sell your 125 engine, total outlay maybe £300. Job done.
