better start from a bit earlier Dawns LI I bought this for her 18th birthday in 1979 it cost me £20 because the guy who owned it put the manifold gasket on upside down restricting the carb making it go just over 30 he thought it was knackered I thought possibilities and well the paint at the time I ...

the early rally 200s ( I have PAM72M a 1973 rally 200 with points ) had points but a 1976 one should be CDI why would you be concerned about the crank, unless some prats stuffed the woodruff key messing with the stator
