Re: GP headlight glass options
I’ve gone for the Scooptopia version myself. It’s a very good item. Fits a treat and excellent quality.

Re: Heavy LTH clutch.
I had to take the clutch apart anyway to inspect my gearbox and change my hub bearing. I’ve fitted some softer springs and changed the inner and outer clutch cable. It’s a lot better now but not mega light like my BGM clutch fitted to another scoot. I’ll just have to live with it.

Re: Only runs with choke on.
I whipped the carb off and it was gummed up. A quick clean and it’s all good again. I love a happy ending.

Re: Only runs with choke on.
Ok cheers, I’ll whip the carb off 1st. Then check for leaks. It was running perfectly prior to going off the road. Thanks Pete.

Only runs with choke on.
Hi all, after being off the road for a while I’ve spent the last few days sorting out my RB250. I’ve replaced the rear hub bearing and seal and checked the 5 speed box and clutch. Other than that I’ve not touched anything else enginewise. It started within 15 kicks but revs quite high and will only ...

Re: Trust.
I do believe if you have a problem, firstly contact the dealer and hopefully they should sort it out. If not they should be named and shamed as this would make them change their attitude if they lost customers. To be fair as it’s 4 years down the line I’ve not bothered contacting the dealer. If I’d...

Heavy LTH clutch.
Hi all, how light should an LTH clutch feel at the lever? I’ve got one fitted and it’s never been particularly light. It’s now after not using the scoot for a while gone really heavy. I’ve had it all apart today whilst I was doing a cyclone inspection and it all seems fine. I’m using an MB nylon lin...

Trust.
4 years ago I bought a ready built RB250 motor from a dealer. It already came with ‘top quality parts’ and by the time I added a Cyclone 5 speed the total bill was a touch over £3,500. Anyway roll on 4 years and only 600 miles later ( other scooters other projects and work .) I’m finding some of the...

Yodel.
Not scooter related, but Yodel have delivered £30 worth of fishing tackle to a wrong address and it's gone missing. Anyone else have problems with these clowns?

Re: Stuck on engine decisions
I've got both an Imola and RB20 kitted scoots. Both are hard work to keep in the power and aren't much fun lower down the rev range. Great for blasting around on short runs on open roads but certainly not a daily workhorse. My next build will be a GT186 as they are supposed to be more useable but wi...
