I should add that i'm getting these aproximate figures using a theoretical piston to deck height of 0.5mm as i've not put the motor together just yet .It will also be port matched and blue printed.

Ive not built a PX 125 engine for my own use since the late eighties, but since selling my Lambrettas a few years ago and now trying to get back into scooters ive found myself priced out of the market as far as Innocenti stuff goes so ive been reduced to tuning up an LML125 rotary motor for my lates...

DR177 will bolt straight on to a standard 125 and doesnt really require the casing to be ported either, so if your crank and the rest of your engine is ok a DR is plug and play. You will need to upjet your carb, and a 22 tooth clutch sprocket will help you make the most of the extra "grunt"...

Mudguard modified to clear the shock.
Not pretty, but neither is the rider.

Fitted a YSS PK shock to the modified PX fork. Next job is making the Bajaj mudguard fit. Wow! I know this batch of six engines and the other five are still running fine as far as I know. Looks like this was the "bad" one. At least the casing escaped damage which is amazing in itself. Throw a nice strong crank in there and put it down to experience!
