Re: Franspeed Supertourer or Race???

The Fran race is a very different pipe, comes on the power at around 5600rpm (exactly the same setup as yours) and revs on, there is still power below this but does make the power higher up the rev range, great fun but as your comment good for the local roads. The 5 speed does actually help to a deg...

Re: Recommended gp chain tensioner

I have used the Sticazzi one from Readspeed, a litle bit more expensive but well engineered, very strong and incorporates the bottom guide as well.

Re: SIP fuel tap problem

Hi, this seems to be a reoccurring problem, i had 2 which leaked, tightening the 2 screws just makes it worse so i assume it is the inner seal at fault. I returned one but gave up and swapped to the BGM one, never had another issue. Disappointed as i always use SIP and their products are usually top...

Re: fitting a 62 mm stroke crank

The larger stroke does give more torque, however if you go down the route also use the longer 110mm rod so you can set the timings easier (also remember you will need to machine the housing to accept the longer stroke)

Re: SiP Speedo in a new PX - where did you put the box ?

The easiest place is in the headset as you have the lights to pickup for the revs etc... it is a squeeze but on its side.
If you have a battery model then you can use the extension lead and tie wrap to the battery housing, you can then pick up the pulse from the rear loom.
