I'm not sure if this will help but my T5 172 is running on a standard 24/24 with a scorpion exhaust. I've upjetted the main to a 125. I'd say a 125 or 128 main jet would be a good start for your set up, everything else as standard. I couldn't see a big box exhaust needing a bigger main than a scorpi...

I use an alarmed padlock on the brake pedal when I'm camping. It doesn't operate the back break completely but it makes a racket if disturbed.......

Reading Coaster’s reply earlier in this thread reminded me of the nightmare of fitting the temp ring! I had mine fitted under the head nut furthest from the fan. Easyish when the engine was on the bench. Nightmare when I took the head off for a decoke! Couldn’t refit and had to file it bigger to fit...

I have no knowledge of mugellos but I do run a gt240 on a gt casing. Did you have your seizure problems while running in? That could be anything! I'd raise the tickover a bit by twisting the screw that points upwards on the top of the carb box. See if it helps. I bet thats your problem. If not, check that the ht lead hasn't loosened from the sparkplug cap or the cdi box. Change the sparkplug but check the colour of the...
