Re: TS1 245 38bhp / 26.14 ft.lbs
Re your idea. That's fine. And good on you. But this is racing and group 6 racing at that, and you should go flat out to show what you can do rather than be restricted by road components. Sonic nozzles? Really ? In a road pipe that's off the shelf. I would guess it was just stinger diameter tbh. Or ...

Re: TS1 245 38bhp / 26.14 ft.lbs
Darrel has suffered in some ways, as his knowledge of tuning outweighed his knowledge of air cooled Lambrettas briefly, hence two holed pistons at his first race meet on the big motor, but since then his motor/rider combo is proving the graphs are not just hype. thats only half a story what actuall...

Re: 40+bhp 150cc Vespa Small Frame........
first time I looked at this thread on the laptop rather than the phone. Looking at the results the lad came quite a way back from lauro.. Is there any class/type info Dan? Usually lauro likes to race in the class which retains the original stud centers. And I will be surprised if he built a one off ...

Re: rotary valve inlet timing on PE /PX range vespas
Kind of. The 'real' disc valve system is much less restrictive than the Vespa rotary system and allows a full circle crank. In terms of inlet timing then yes the same rules apply and in that sense it's the same.

Re: 40+bhp 150cc Vespa Small Frame........
Lauro is doing a t5 based motor but he is remaking the casings as well. The barrel is very nice! It will take some time though as he is a one man band

Re: who would build the following t5/ts1 conversion
Only thing is that will be a crank or at most a figure at the end of the reduction gear. Once it's running through a lambretta casing with its small volume and then drives a chain , clutch and constant mesh gearbox you will see quite a loss unfortunately. That's not to say it couldn't be tweaked of ...
