I've always used a ratio of 62% of the bore diameter, measuring straight across the port. A 70mm 225 will be a sensible 43.4mm wide.
I believe 65% size refers to around the bore.

How to cut piston Windows.
Does anybody know the best or safest way possible to cut some windows into a piston. I've also seen many types, from 2 oval or round holes to a single hole, any advice on this will also be greatly received, thank you.

Of course it will run, but better off selling the TS1 piston, get a Avanti or 1mm Asso & cut in the windows to match the inlet.

I have run a scootrs one of these for years, I'd recommend 118 main and 40 pilot on a standard 200. Needle will be a JJK 2nd clip.
