Re: reprofile cylinder head for t5 to 172

That's great value. Is the polini as noisy as the malossi cylinder? The malossi clickity clack does my head in!

Re: T5 leo vince

Re: T5 leo vince

Thanks again soulboy for the reply. I'm sure I read somewhere that Harry Barlow rated them as a T5 exhaust. It's taken me a long time to track one down, I think they stopped making them a while back. I'll drill off the rivets holding the can anyway just to see what's in there. I've already tried a s...

Re: T5 leo vince

Thanks soulboy for the help. Can't see the disc thing but as it's a secondhand exhaust, it might have been derestricted already. My scoot's running well with it, much better than I expected. Jeez it fits very tidy under the engine and with it, there's good access to the clutch and rear brake cable.

T5 leo vince

At last I've got my hands on a leo vince exhaust for a T5. I read somewhere that it can be de restricted somehow. Anyone know whats involved? Happy with it so far. Not as torqueless as a scorpion and a bit more top end than a sito plus.

Re: TDC the measuring of.

Someone well respected in the scootering world had a hook suspended from a ceiling on which he'd hang a lambretta engine using the conrod and tdc would get marked off. I can't remember the person but I thought it was a great solution. There's always more than one way to skin a cat!

Re: P200 Worn or damaged clutch 23T drive cog or primary dri

I know you've mentioned that you changed the crank bearings but does the flywheel move much when you enguage the clutch? The other 3 things that made noises for me were the spring that holds the cover over the clutch nut being loose and a clutch side oil seal that wasn't seated fully and wore a circ...

Re: T5 carb jetting with malossi 172 kit

Mine needed a 120 main with the standard pipe and a 125 main with a scorpion, with those jets my plug had the perfect colour and I could ride it flat out for long distances without seizing but every scooter is different.
